XP Home Reserved System Space

    Hi,
    Does anyone know how to get rid of or reduce this ridiculous waste of space?
    I have 3 H.D.s. One does not have any, one has a reasonable amount for its size, but the one I installed yesterday seems to be taking about 30%. Surely it can be changed?

    Right click on My Computer, go to Properties, then the System Restore tab. Make adjustments as necessary.

    Reserved System Space

    Hi,
    There seems to be a misapprehension that System Restore controls this space. Well it doesn't, since the drive which shows this huge reserved space does not have System Restore switched on! I'm sure the amount of reserved space can be altered in the Registry, but where?
