Yahoo mail problem

    I use Yahoo.com as a server. Does anyone know if I can uninstall only the Yahoo email? I seem to be having a problem when I click on an email "link" on web sites such as: "email us". The link is dead or sometimes comes up with a pop up window and says "Error" missing .dll or the like.
    I was thinking I might uninstall it and re-install it to solve the problem.
