Sweet Jesus! I just hope twitch tv keeps improving. Often it is the only entertainment I leave on in my living room and I would hate see it suffer.

  6. Oh, great. The last thing the internet needs is another virtual monopoly by the likes of Google. I seriously hope someone else bids on the company to keep competition alive.

Och and the streamers are going mental. Calm your pants, it's not like they will make it subscription only >.>

I think he meant 'Don't you mean Google bought Twitch'. Saying Youtube bought Twitch, would be like saying Windows bought something instead of saying Microsoft bought something. And then there's this line...
Which doesn't make any sense either. Perhaps though because there are two things wrong with it, they cancel each other out. :)

As a streamer, we will have to wait and see. Hopefully it will remain open and free as it is now. Also, I hope that I can keep making money from ads (I know YouTube allows this, so probably).

One would think the price would be more than $1B for a site of the size of Twitch.

Youtube would ultimately destroy twitch the same way it did Youtube. Greedly claim copyright on anything and everything and undercut the user, especially out of just dues(money) If I was a twitch streamer id be very VERY nervous.
