Zipped Virus

Hello! I have been getting some virus to my Inbox and mostly all of them are zipped, Can i get infected if the virus is zipped but i dont open it?

You shouldn't get it if the zip file isn't opened but there have known exploits on email clients such as outlook express where you could get infected even without opening the attachment.

If you don't know the person sending the Email + attachment, simply delete it. Don't even open the Email.

Okay! Thank you very much! But i dont understand why im getting all this crap ... i have been using this email for around 6 years

It might've been on some mailing list where one member got infected & such. There are many ways.
