I didn't even know it was out! I saw a commercial for it a month ago and haven't heard anything since. The only game commercial I see now is Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter for XBox360.... Oblivion looks like an awesome game though! Anything similar to the old Elder Scrolls or is it completely different?

Hum, Oblivion is the 4th Elder Scrolls game. It's done by Bethesda just like Arena, Daggerfall & Morrowind before it.

I meant the Morrowind: Elder Scrolls III, it's the only one I played because it came free with my Computer.

what do you mean you didnt know it was out yet?
do you live under a rock?
and no its not as good as morrowind, in fact. it uses the exact same engine that morrowind used. if you look closely the enviroments look terrible. and the draw distance on the land are laughable. it looks horrible from a distance.
the enviroments are EXTREMELY repetitive. its literally the exact same cave, every cave you go in. they kind of slapped this one together.
im holding out for the next one.

Yeah this game is by far one of the best I played, If it had the quest like Morrowind in this game then it'll be game of the year for 500 years

Same engine as Morrowind? My ***. Try turning up the quality. On low quality it looks like Morrowind. On high it's like Morrowind x475893659623. And it took them 4 years to finish. You call that "slapped together?"

Grandenhag, you obviously haven't seen screenshots of Oblivion. as MetalX said, the engine took 4 YEARS to complete the game. It's different.

I was never a fan of the elder scrolls series, being a gothic fan myself ;p but have to admit this looks pretty decent for a simple game
