Yeah I notice a difference, there's also more detail on the ground in the right photo. The wonderful world of patches! Sometimes they fix/enhance things, and on rare occasions they just bring more problems...

I don't notice that. They increased the res of distant textures from 1024x1024 pixels to 2048x2048. But they need to be increased to something like 8192x8192 for the distant textures to look truly good.
