News has it AM2 is doomed, AM3 is already in the works. The $309 CPU is as fast or faster than a $1236 FX-62! eek.

The fact is Intel will sell CPUs that are 20% faster, use 50% less power and cost 60% less than AMD's!

u can OC the entry level core-duo to make it run like a $1000 chip. you get yourself one of these e6600 4mb l2 cache, dont even bother.



it used to be a toss up between the intel/amd but not anymore
