I may be mistaken but is that pump a small passive filter for a small turtle/fish tank ? Looks exactly like on I used to have in my tank when i kept water turtles lol....:P

I'm not sure what you're referring to... that is a picture of the first water cooling setup I built. I built it 7 or 8 years ago. I posted it just to give people an idea of how simple it can be to make your own water cooling setup for very little money. that system pictured costs about $35 and is works very well.



@bushwhacker... no, it's not steel. it's a 4"x4"x4" plastic electrical box

@JimShady23... passive filter? no, it's an active pump ... but it is indeed an aquarium pump. aquarium pumps are perfect for PC water cooling. before commercial water cooling kits were available the only option was aquarium pumps.



that pump is an "aquarium systems MiniJet404". it only uses 6 watts, doesn't heat up, is completely silent, and best of all it costs less than $15 and can be run 24/7.
