Sorry I can't seem to find away to edit my comments section.

I wanted to add, I'm buying him a new black logitek keyboard and mouse to help add to the effect.

Thanks guys. The monitor can come apart (i.e take the back off) Then I used a can of special spray paint for plastics (red) and use same on case. The tricky part was cutting the case panel out with a jig saw using a metal cutting blade. But even that went pretty smooth.

The monitor is a standard beige, so for the front face I used some black paint and a cloth with varsal on it and then just rubbed it onto the face panel. This gives it a grey look.

It does look really cool now with the new balck KB and mouse!

My wife is a graphics designer by trade, so she did up the web effect part.

Not bad at all. The web effect is especially eye-catching on that sharp red color.
