Wow no way, I made that wallpaper!!! Years and years ago, like four to be honest. I was 14 or 15 when I made that. Its 100% from scratch, I made the carbon fiber pattern, threw the gradient over that, and I made the shape in 3DS Max, the lightening was done with an Alien filter... all in 3DS Max and Photoshop. I never would have thought that would have made it to someones desktop. I remember posting it and one of the few comments I actually got on it was by Didou, and he said the text was a little midevil-aged rather than 'techie'.
