It looks like the fan is in there backwards... doesn't it just look like it would work better if it spun the opposite direction and the blades curved the other way? That would make it direct much more air through the HS... or is it meant to suck air from outside in?

Sorry guys for taking a LONG time to reply. I didn't notice your replies.



The card now runs very cool, and extremely silent. Normally it idles around 28 °C and under load around 55-65°C. That's VERY good for a toasty R480 card



And yes MetalX, I also thought that the blades should be curved the other way, but the fan manages to keep the card cool. And it never runs above 2500 RPM, and moves a decent amount of air.

I want to get an NV Silencer for my 7950GT, because it sounds like it could start to fly across the Atlantic at any time, with the amount of air it's blowing around. Only problem is that here in Canada, with only tigerdirect.ca for stock... it's like $45. And it comes to $67 with shipping and tax.
