all case fans except the top radiator fan are speed controlled by the Antec TruePowerII PSU (which keeps them all silent). The top fan (mounted above the radiator) is a "turbine fan" which is silent even at full speed, and still moves an impressive amount of air.

The PSU gets quite hot on it's own, which eventually causes the speed controlled case fans to speed up. To solve this I added an 80mm fan to the back of the PSU, this sucks the heat out of the PSU so that the case fans stay at ultra low-RPMs.

my two hard drives are the loudest components in the whole system :-)
