Vehementi, yeah i know what you mean. that is basically the philosophy of an overclocker -- go as far as you can go. i am just saying that to myself before i spend too much money on exotic cooling solutions (or even more parts) to push it even further.



thanks ---agissi---. i believe i can still go even higher (only running 1.57 Vcore right now). hopefully upping the Vcore a little bit (only a little bit because i am only air cooling) can allow me to get more performance out of the cpu.

My 2.6C runs great at 1.6V, but not anything above. Try out that.

i think my board (IS7) is limiting me. i could get to 280MHz fsb but the board would not boot occasionally. at 275MHz, i am prime95 stable for this board. pretty decent OC nevertheless. :P
