Yes it is, i was upset that i couldnt run it at the factory settings. It kept overheating.

It does run at a decent temperature. It all depends on your definition of decent.



As long as it runs within its recommended operating temperature, its decent, really. What we want though, is very cool temperatures, to allow of overclocking

I have an 8800 GTS 640mb, and I also upgraded to the Thermalright HR-03 Plus cooler. And I gotta say... what a difference. The stock cooler was FRECKIN LOUD, and it didn't keep it as cool as i wanted it to. With the new cooler me GPU temps sit at 46C while idle. Goes in the higher 50's while load. I'm VERY impressed with that cooler... you wont be disappointed

My unit still gets to 80C sometimes, but my clock speeds are very high. It doesnt shut down my pc anymore though. But I have to running multiple game clients on full detail.
