Overclocking a free 8500GT I got from a friend. It overclocked to about the measurements of a budget 8600GT, at this 76fps in Lost Coast. Good thing I got one for a backup, my 8600GT won't even work period now...



76fps in lost coast (No AA or AF)

58fps in lost coast (4x AA, 8x AF)

Wow. That fill rate is awful lol. Mine's 43.2 GTexel/s :/



But nice overclock

How do you overclock the shaders? Are they based on the core or memory clock? Or are they independant? Because nTune doesn't have options for shader clocks...
