We use to have comcast, your seems a bit slow, Ours was the economy internet, and it was usually at 17000 download, 3500 upload. (we were paying 40 for economy internet, 60 for basic cable with 60 channels, 100 total)

We moved onto at+t uverse. Now paying 100 a month for fastest at+t fiber optic dsl (10mb), 200 all digital channels, (40 high-def,) a dvr and 2 boxes. (uverse is where the tv goes over the internet, 100% fiber optics.) Very Nice, the boxes run Windows CE, but a special stripped down CE version of Media center edition. The on-demand channel lets you choose from 3-10 different shows you can watch at anytime. You can also record shows on the regular boxes to the dvr, and watch them off the dvr on a different box. (and record 4 shows at once)
