I'm playing around with Sun xVM VirtualBox and collecting old and new operating systems. This is good old Windows For Workgroups 3.11 (I don't have an English version, this is Spanish).

I managed to make it run with a resolution of 1024x768 and 256 colors, sound and Internet. Tried to load techspot.com, but IE3 crashed. Maybe I'm lucky with IE5, I've heard this is the last Win 3.x compatible version.

I'll try to post other OS's soon, like Win9x/ME, 2k even Windows 1.01.

That's just what I was going to ask (at the end of your comments) What browser could handle Win 3.11? Perhaps look for a really old version of Netscape, too?

Yes, I think Netscape 4.08 should work, I only found 4.03. And it still hangs when I try to load a modern web-page. I've installed Opera 3.06 too, no luck either.

They all work fine with Win 3.11, the problem is that modern web-pages are not compatible with old browsers
