The new M$ flagship Windows 7 is still in beta, but this is build 7057 (dualboot with Vista). Windows 7 seems much better, faster and nicer than Vista, imho. But I find the taskbar very confusing, it's not easy to see the difference between the Quicklaunch icons and running programs.

This is my last Windows screenshot for now (unless I get Windows 2.0 and 3.0 working). I'll start posting other OS, like Mac OS 7, 8, 9, X etc. and some Linux distros.

Except for the taskbar I find Windows 7 very similar to Vista, almost like Win98 vs WinMe. Luckily Windows 7 doesn't look like a new WinMe with all it's problems.

These screenshots are only to give a glimpse on how different operating systems look.

But I've been using Windows 7 build 7100 as my main OS for a few weeks now, and I like it a loot, much better than Vista. It's stable, fast and nice. After getting used to it, the new taskbar is really powerfull, especially since I always have a lot of windows open.

XP was a great system, but it's not able to take full advantage of modern software (in my case the Robson Turbo memory, for instance).
