Nice dude. Good work. If you want to see a very tidy computer you can look at mine http://www.techspot.com/gallery/show...php/photo/3462 . It might show you something you may have missed. Plus the graphics card could eat yours. not that your computer isn't very nice.

Cheers

Those specs are deffinatly game worthy. You have more ram than I do as well. If you really want the best of the best from gaming all I would recommend is a new graphics card and power supply. If you are interested in finding out what best suits your computer put in a thread in techspot under hardware and modding and the best of the best of techspot members will help you pic out parts specific for your computer. Put in your computer specs how much you want to pay and what area's you feel are lacking in the computer. Is it slow at all? Do you get good fps (frames per second). etc etc. Answer things like that and they will deffinatly help you.

Cheers

ALL consol games can be used for PC. Its just the waiting time for the consol game to be made into a pc game. I am fairly sure you will not have to update to windows 7.

Well good luck with the car and when you post questions I will make sure to take a look.

Cheers dude!

You've got a nice motherboard there, and room for potential upgrade. The best thing about the 4850 right now, you can get them for as little as $100! Your PSU will be fine to handle a crossfire setup with two cards as well, so thats a real easy upgrade. Also good job on the cable management, you did what you could with the wire which is more than some. Try shoving any extra wire above your disc drive, its usually out of any air flow.

Hey Guys i'm back.

I've got some bad news and good news!

The bad news is that my Radeon 4850 began giving some problems; It didn't want to start up. The day before it happened i played NFS pro street(at night). The next day my motherboard didn't detect my videocard at all:-(.

I tried getting the card out and putting it in again. It started to work after that but, after i turned my pc off again after 20min. it didn't detect my videocard again.

So i didn't wast anymore time and brought it back for another one(thank god warranty).

But since i was going to get another one i thought i would put part of the money that i already saved for an ati radeon 4890 and buy the 4890.

So the good news is that i bought myself an ati radeon 4890. I'll tell ya'll later in detail and show some foto's later too

Mikymjr,

If you do get a "proper" CPU cooler then you would open up headroom for potential overclocking and from what I have read the X3 710 can easily do 3 GHz on near if not stock volts. With some work you can more than likely get it higher and this is only at the cost of a decent heatsink/fan assembly. I'm a fan of Noctuas because they have rather good build quality and come with everything you need including (IMO) a top notch TIM, when the time does come you can post a poll on the forums to see what everyone else has to say to help you make a choice. Overclock your CPU combined with dual 4890s will be one top notch system and could handle anything out there (right now of course the future always holds more demanding games)
