That's an AGP slot next to it. I think that's an AthlonMP (Barton) on a Dual CPU board (thus the CPU2 writting on the PCB).

i got AS3 all over my hands the first time i tried to apply it on the cpu. sticky business i tell you all.

Great shot. I can't count how many times I had to replace CPUs because of noobs not reading instructions and deeping their CPUs in artic silver as you would a saltine cracker in a bottle of mayo, back when I worked as a tech. I give you a 10 because of the educational value.

It does not say anywhere on the AS package how to apply it. I needed to do it for my friend and I globed it all over it. I found out I had done it wrong after I gave it back to her. It’s working fine now though. She doesn't know.

The grey cloud looks like heat discoloration, my old Duron used to look a little like that, cept the cloud was bigger.
