i used to have a 56k modem, and 56k service but my phone lines were bad so i only got about 26.4k. so. i got cable. =P

my brother had a 56k one time and a storm kicked in and the lighting hit and was so intense that my brother with his hands on the keyboard felt a small shock and the 56k chip that is on the modem card became a hole in that circuit board because it was blasted from the lighting.

I actually have a 56k modem somewhere lying around...I now use Comcast High Speed Internet .

Sweet, If I had atleast a 1.5mbps+ download speed it'll be all good



I have a 60kbps normally ( usually because FileFront = crap download cap lol ) and in the 90s-1mb when using programs like Steam to download games

Hi,



First time poster be kind.





I'm having a problem burning and copying a DVD I'm using A Dell XPS 410 w/ Windows Home ED w/ Service pack II.



Use Roxio MYDVD and DVD43 to burn/copy and can't seem to get started even.



Would appreciate help.
