GamePC recently put up a dual 64-bit shootout with some of the fastest processors you can get nowadays, that is, a pair of Intel's "Nocona" Xeons running at 3.4 GHz along with 2GB of DDR2 memory, and a Supermicro "Tumwater" E7525 motherboard competing against a pair of AMD's latest Opteron 250 processors (2.4 GHz) with 2GB of DDR-400 memory and Tyan's high-end Thunder K8W platform. A must read for SMP enthusiasts.
