IBM To Launch New Line of Powerful Unix Servers

IBM is trying to get on top again with a new line of Unix servers that are twice as powerful as those offered by Hewlett-Packard and Sun Microsystems.

"Analysts said that rivals Sun and HP may not be able to match the machines for some time."

The new systems feature IBM's newest Power5 microprocessors, with different models offering from four to 16 processors.

I think instead of this little Linux box I have here that I telnet to, I will get one of those babies instead! Hmmm...
