HP is to launch new iPaq handheld devices
that offer varying degrees of security, wireless capabilities, memory, battery life and cost. There will be three new models - the iPaq hx2410 and hx2110 as well as the high end hx2750. The hx2750 features a built in biometric fingerprint reader, which can be used in conjunction with a password and PIN. All three models feature HP ProtectTools security software which allows users to easily encrypt various forms of user data. Similarly, all three models support built-in Bluetooth, but the hx2750 and hx2410 models support Wi-Fi as well. The hx2750 has 128MB of both SDRAM and ROM, while the hx2410 and hx2110 have 64MB of SDRAM and ROM. Prices are not currently available.
