AMD shows off first Geode chipset

AMD has unveiled a board designed specifically for its low-power Geode NX processor line. The new Geode NX DB1500 includes a chipset from Silicon Integrated Systems in a small Mini-ITX form factor. The board is intended for use in thin client applications and embedded systems. The board supports up to 1GB of double data rate DRam, a PCI 2.2 expansion slot, USB 2.0 ports, 10/100 Ethernet, TFT and AC 97 audio codes.

  1. Thats so awesome, cuz Ive wanted my next PC to be mini-ITX for a long time, for lans and stuff since we have them frequently here, but its always sad how hard it is to get the best hardware into them..
