Dell: 'DJ Ditty' Enters mp3 Player Market

Dell has introduced an iPod competitor dubbed DJ Ditty, a slim mp3 device that will weigh a mere 1.29 Ounces. The initial offering for this device will be able to hold around 220 songs with 512MB of flash storage onboard, and has up to 14 hours of playtime between recharges.

The device has a built in radio and mini LCD screen, and comes with common accessories. It starts at only $99, which is a pretty decent price for an mp3 player, though I find that a mere 512MB of storage is a bit limiting. The lack of a spinning disc though spells durability, and the size is pretty decent too. Not the greatest out there, but worth a look.
