Apple has beefed up iTunes video content with the introduction of 12 new TV series available for purchase and download. Without any fanfare, Apple added “The Office”, sci-fi classic “Alfred Hitchcock” and “Battlestar Galactica” among eight others, making iTMS have the largest collection of legal TV downloads available. To date, Apple has had over three million videos sold, demonstrating the popularity of iTMS as well as the eagerness of people to embrace newer technology. All this after some claimed that no one would ever buy music or videos online. Apple is also in negotiations with FOX, CBS and ESPN to add further content in the future.
