Google music search

Now why didn’t we have this long ago? Google has unveiled a search function that allows surfers to easily find music and related information on artists and albums.

A Web surfer who types a band name, album title, or song lyric into the Google search bar will now get a list of online stores where they can buy the tunes in question.
Mind you, judging from how the music industry has been suing people left, right and centre over copyright infringement, I would not be surprised if they turn their noses up at this and sue Google. Or perhaps its just little people that the music industry wants to sue.

  1. Now why would they want to sue Google if they're getting their website shown first/second/ etc... How stupid!
  2. Once agian, Google is improving thier service. I don't believe they will be sued, but it is possible. Way to go agian Google!
  3. Google is not giving free music, they are just giving info of the music... they should think it before the music industry sues Google since they are publishing the music for free and letting people know about it...That would be a big mistake.
  4. Did you know that a website that shows lyrics of songs got sued by a "RIAA" kinda organization ? funny But they will never sue Google. it's just a search engine, and by incident, the biggest in the internet. Sue Google - and you'll get such bad responses you couldn't get rid of for 10 years. And yet again - Google is becoming even better. In the end, Google will control the world... you will see !
  5. Good for google, not a bad idea for music fans, I think the RIAA should accept the idea and just leave it alone, Google is not making the songs free or anything its just an information service really for fans.
  6. Sometimes I wonder how far is google going to go lol. Anyways the farther google goes the better for us internet users. There just making life easier and easier. KEEP IT UP!
