More hardware goodies at the Consumer Electronics Show, South Korean company Cowon demonstrated one of the first (they claim first) "micro" media players that is based on new-age super small hard drives. "iAudio 6" as it is called is equipped with a 4GB hard drive that is only 0.85" wide. The device has a 1.3" OLED screen capable of high color, can play most standard audio, play video and view pictures. It even has an FM tuner. Considering the feature set it sounds like a pretty compact little gadget, but without photos it's hard to tell. According to the article, it will last 20 hours on batteries, though it's unclear what sort of media you can actually use for that 20 hours.
