Microsoft's Project Origami

Microsoft is set to release a new gadget – a cross between a Nokia 770 and an iPod – under the name of 'Project Origami'. The device resembles a small tablet PC, and functions as a web surfing device as well as a games console and satellite navigation device. It features a detachable keyboard and stylus.

A Microsoft spokeswoman confirmed that the device was genuine but said it was not a current version of the product. "While Origami is a concept we've been working on with partners, please know that the video seen on Digital Kitchen’s web site is a year old and represents our initial exploration into this form factor, including possible uses and scenarios," she said.

  1. well saw the intro video and it looks good but i think its to big to be a gaming just device but since it has a media center like pc capabilities the size on th evideo is good i hope they make it a bit smaller without sacrificing disk space
