DS Lite adds more colors and sells out in Japan

Nintendo is offering another version of the DS Lite, "Enamel Navy and Ice Blue", currently only in Japan. The Lite is the latest addition to the DS line and promises to make the handheld be more portable, among other things. Of course, maybe instead of alternate colors, the idea of faceplates will be made known to Nintendo soon. With the release of the Revolution still a ways off, people are anxious to see what Nintendo is going to offer aside from updates. They must have something big planned to wait this long, for sure. The DS Lite hasn't hit other shores yet, though, and may just be their saving grace in the U.S. It's selling out in Japan, something the XBox and 360 couldn't even approach, so maybe it will.

  1. They offered a faceplate system with the GB Micro but months later, there are close to none on the market. The idea was nice, to have your GB Micro look spanking new, even a year later by simply changing the faceplate but I'd rather just take care of my system & not let it get scratched in the first place.ps. people of Japan, stop buying the DS Lite, I want to import one. Thanks in advance... :p
