In the UK, a judge there has ruled that hacker Gary McKinnon should be extradited to the United States to face charges of damaging U.S. government and military systems. McKinnon, who claims he meant no harm with the intrusions, and was merely gathering information concerning the hidden evidence of UFOs, faces the final decision concerning his extradition within the next two months.

"My intention was never to disrupt security," McKinnon said outside court. "The fact that I logged on and there were no passwords means that there was no security. I was looking for UFOs."
