SugarCRM plans further integration with MS software
SugarCRM is one of the most advanced and easy to use CRM packages around. If you've ever used it in the workplace, you know how much easier it is then millions of emails and post-it notes stuck to your monitor. For the most part, Sugar has always offered a free version of the suite that lacks some integration, but gives you much of the same features as the paid versions. Recently, Sugar is expanding development with Microsoft, adding greater integration into things like Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory and IIS.
Currently, Sugar already has modules that allow it to integrate with Outlook and Exchange servers, something that many businesses sorely need. The expansions they are planning sound very good for business. However, we must hope that with the potential change in licensing from the SugarCRM Public License to a MS license, they do not abandoned those who rely on the free package.

I've been researching and have not found too much
information. I have to believe this CRM is a no brainer for
small to mid-sized business. I will agree with the article, in the sense that SugarCRM is the most advanced. Based on their distribution model and and incorporating open source is definitely a pioneering move.
