AMD antitrust case to happen in 2009
AMD's case against Intel, which recently lost a bit of water when a Judge threw out some portions of it, will still go forward, much later than expected. Tentatively, AMD and Intel will now go to court sometime in 2009. While this makes Intel feel a bit better, bringing both short term pressure off and giving them additional time to “open” the market more to AMD, it also gives AMD more time to prepare the case and find other potential charges. The trial, when it does go forward, will happen in Delaware. Most recently, many portions of the case were tossed out because the courts are not recognizing all of Intel's actions overseas.

Well maybe they should debate the case over seas where it is taking place/or took place? |

That is the main reason why AMD's case has grown weak, the judge said that Intel's actions took place outside of U.S. borders and affected AMD foreign affairs. |
