Microsoft delays SP3 for XP until 2008

Microsoft is definitely pushing Vista above everything else it seems. Despite that Vista is as of yet unreleased and XP remains as the most dominant desktop OS at the home and businesses, the release of Service Pack 3 for it has been delayed until the first half of 2008. Initially on the roadmap for the latter half of 2007, the delay isn't particularly long given the release history of XP, but may come as a disappointment to many who aren't ready or willing to upgrade to Vista next year.
