Skype founders to launch online TV service
The founders of Skype recently unveiled their plans of a new web TV service called "The Venice Project" which is currently being beta tested by a small group of users. Developer made Internet entrepreneur Janus Friis posted on his blog a few tidbits of information on the project saying "(they) are trying to bring together the best of TV with the best of the Internet."
Although the goal of the project is no small challenge, Friis and Zennström have certainly proved themselves as P2P experts after successful ventures with both Kazaa and Skype, this last one was recently sold to eBay for the small figure of $2.6 billion.
