ThunderBird 2.0 RC1 available

If you were looking forward to snagging the Thunderbird 2.0 RC1 as we talked about last week, you can now download it. RC1 is currently available for all languages and the three major platforms and weighs in at 17.7MB. If you're relying on Thunderbird as a mission-critical program you may want to wait until 2.0 goes stable, but for anyone wanting to try out the new features it's definitely worth a look. The search functions alone make it worth trying. Supposedly, we'll see a final release this month.
