AMD releases ATI Catalyst 7.5

Radeon users everywhere will be happy to know that ATI has released an update to the Catalyst driver package Windows XP and Windows Vista introducing DirectX 10 support for ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT graphics cards in Windows Vista, for both single cards and CrossFire™ configurations.

Also with this update AMD introduces the second generation ATI Theater™ 650, providing support for the new MCE 2006 requirements such as DRM support. It will also provide improved TV quality and Broadcast Flag support which enables full US terrestrial DTV support.

Various performance improvements and resolved issues are specified at the download page. ATI Radeon users can head to our drivers download section to get the new ATI Catalyst 7.5 for Windows XP (Home / Pro / MCE), Windows XP Professional 64-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit and Windows Vista 64-bit.
