Skype slowly recovers as outages continue
Yesterday, a large number of Skype users found themselves without service. Skype promised a quick fix, saying within 24 hours everyone would be back up. They are repairing the system, but it seems to be taking longer than they estimated. As the repairs go on, they say outages may continue today.
They aren't specifying how many people are still affected, and are asking Skype users to leave their client app running to ensure it comes up automatically when the problem is fully fixed. They are still insisting that full service will be restored today.

The service isn't fully restored for me yet. It was functioning for a little bit this morning, but it's down again. |
