OCZ teams up with UK reseller PC World
OCZ is expanding their profile a bit, by striking a deal with one of the U.K.'s largest PC retailers, PC World. With the goal of making their products more widely available, OCZ will be selling their hardware through PC World. This might make a lot of Europeans happy who might have to go through more awkward channels to get them.
In the press release issued today, OCZ cited reasons such as a growing European market for enthusiast-grade memory and other high performance parts. It seems that they'll be extending their lifetime warranty to that region as well, which is a good sign since often hardware warranties can vary from country to country. Components are already available via PC World. Ultimately, this may lead to better prices in the U.K. on these types of parts – since a direct supply chain is better than having to go through multiple vendors.
