Ever since the Nintendo Wii overtook the 360 as the number one current gen console, Microsoft has been kept busy trying to spurn new interest in its love child. Even with the PS3 gaining momentum as of late, the Xbox has done quite well overall with an estimated 19+ million units
sold worldwide since release.
While some figures put both the 360 and the Wii at lower numbers, there still seems to be a considerable gap
between both of these consoles and the total installed base for the PlayStation 3 so far.
Nevertheless, with all three consoles finally offering a fairly rich listing of hit titles, it is likely that the games rather than the console features will make or break the trio. Or not? Yet another trend we keep seeing more and more is owning at least two out of the three consoles.
