NZXT challenges high performance mice with new Avatar

NZXT is a relatively small manufacturer better known for its PC cases marketed largely at gamers and enthusiasts alike – just last week we posted our review of their expensive new flagship Khaos all-aluminum gaming chassis. While in our opinion the NZXT Khaos fails to deliver from a price/value standpoint, the company is making an interesting entry into high performance gaming mice market with its new Avatar mouse.

This gaming mouse offers a 2600 DPI optical sensor with a maximum frame rate of 6469, 7 programmable keys, ergonomic ambidextrous design, and a USB connection. With a $60 price tag, this mouse competes directly with the Razer DeathAdder. According to NZXT's specs, the Avatar offers a better resolution, higher frame rate, and 2 additional programmable buttons. But in my opinion mice are all about the feel they transmit when in your hand. Check out an in-depth review of NZXT’s Avatar gaming mouse here.
