Intel, Ubisoft release Far Cry 2 bonus missions for free
Fans of the critically-acclaimed Far Cry 2 shooter are getting a nice treat today, with Intel and Ubisoft releasing two free downloadable missions for the game as part of the former's Game On promotion, adding roughly three hours of gameplay to the PC release.
First up is “The Moroccan” mission, which takes you to an abandoned Foreign Legion fort in Leboa-Sako territory where you must find a man with information on The Jackal, while a second mission called “The American” sees you following your predecessor’s trail into the Dogon village to find out what he knows. Apparently these are the same “predecessor tape” bonus missions that came with Gamestop pre-orders of the console versions of Far Cry 2, though in that occasion six missions were made available.
