$199 Lindows-equipped machines selling well

CNN is [URL=http://www.cnn.com/2002/TECH/ptech/12/05/sproject.hs02.cheap.pc.reut/index.html]reporting[/URL] that the infamous $199 Lindows powered boxes are selling quite well during this holiday season, in fact exceeding sales expectations. Built by Microtel Computer Systems, these low-end PCs are taking direct benefit of the wide distribution Wal-Mart provides them with. According to the article, the PCs mostly attract novices looking for a way onto the Internet as well as high-end users wanting a second box.
