MSI introduces the GT729 and EX723 notebooks
Not just one, but two more laptops will be launched by Taiwan-based Micro-Star International. Targeting gamers and multimedia-aficionados, the GT739 and EX723 share comparable specifications and features. I couldn’t find much for an official MSRP, but if you happen to, or are just in the speculating mood, let us hear it in the comments.

The GT739 is a gaming-oriented machine with a 17” display, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU and PM45 chipset, up to 4GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM, 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4850, 500GB HDD, Blu-ray drive, 802.11 b/g/n, 4.1 speaker system, 2 megapixel webcam, optional Bluetooth, VGA and HDMI outputs, one eSATA and three USB 2.0 ports, 4-in-1 memory card reader, ExpressCard slot and a 6-cell battery with an optional 9-cell upgrade. Features include the ability to switch between 5 power profiles via MSI’s ECO quick launch touch sensor, their VIVID LCD technology, colored WASD keys and a numeric keypad.
MSI’s EX723 is a pretty similar machine overall yet more appropriate for standard multimedia use. It too has a 17” display and houses an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU and PM45 chipset, but will instead tone things down a bit with a GeForce G110M graphics chipset, support for up to 4GB of DDR2 800MHz RAM and a hard drive maximum of 320GB. No word on availability yet, but we’ll probably hear more at Computex next week.
