Acer to launch 11.6-inch CULV-based ultrathin

The choice of chipset also means integrated GMA 4500 graphics, offering decent HD video decoding and the ability to pump video out through HDMI. While hard drive specs aren’t mentioned, other features include Ethernet, S/PDIF, Wi-Fi (Draft-N), a battery rated for eight hours and optional 3G/Bluetooth 2.1. The machine will come with Windows Vista Home Premium, but buyers should be eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 7 in October.
Pricing or release dates are also unknown at this time, but the system cost is expected to fall between that of the Aspire One 751 netbook and the larger Aspire Timeline 3810T notebook – or somewhere between $380 and $600.

I got me a 5810TG and battery life truly is astounding! IMO, Acer are going for a roll with their new Aspire Timeline series. |
