Apple-AMD rumours continue to swirl

As MacWorld gets closer, more rumours about a supposed Apple-AMD relationship are popping up. While AMD has said already they have had no contact with Apple for such kind of business, it'd be obvious that if there would be one, they'd want to keep it secret, here are some guesses from the [URL=http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=7023]Inq[/URL]:

And what about Hammer and Apple? The galley gossip is that Apple has placed an order for Hammerish chipolatas but it won't launch possibly until early 2004 when Microsoft Palladium comes like a thief in the night for all X86 CPUs everywhere.

Such boxes, if they ever dematerialise out of the fog of rumours, might contain a very much better version of Apple Works, a head-to-head contender with Volish Office X.
