Playboy has announced plans to sell a 250GB hard drive that has every issue between 1953 and 2010. The company is partnering with Bondi Digital Publishing, which specializes in digital content distribution. The Playboy Cover to Cover Hard Drive sells for $300. The USB bus-powered portable device allows users to search, view, explore, and organize more than 650 Playmates and more than 100,000 archived pages of content. The high-performance, aluminum hard drive measures 3" x 5", easily fits inside a briefcase or jacket pocket, and includes 200GBs of extra space to store other documents.

Announcements like this one clearly demonstrate that all types of print media is struggling nowadays, and media companies that want to stay profitable choose to succumb to providing some form of digital of distribution to their customers. Playboy is clearly hoping the release will increase sales and the popularity of its magazine.

"This is the first time that Playboy, one of the most influential brands on the globe, has offered their entire archive in one place," Murat Aktar, co-founder of Bondi Digital Publishing, said in a statement. "We're proud to partner with Playboy to bring more than five decades of thought-provoking articles, celebrity interviews and stunning photography to the consumer in a whole new way."

 1. Is it only available in the UK? I like to have one. I'm a computer technician in New York and I think this gadget will be helpful to my job. Try this one Playboy Hard Drive
