Nvidia released their well awaited GeForce 320.00 drivers in beta form today. Although they are not the final release it's highly likely they will be almost identical. For those willing to take the plunge these drivers promise performance boosts for several games over the previous GeForce 314.22 WHQL-certified release. Most of the changes are geared towards the GeForce 400, 500, and 600 series, but you should see compatibility and performance improvements across the board as older series are supported as well – up to the GeForce 8 and ION.

If you have the latest chips from Nvidia you can expect around a 20% improvement in Dirt: Showdown and Tomb Raider, and for other games like StarCraft II, Sniper Elite V2, Far Cry 3, F1 2012, and Metro 2033 on average you'll squeeze ~6-7% more fps out of your graphics card.

The release notes for the 320.00 drivers note: "This is the GeForce Game Ready driver for Dead Island: Riptide, Neverwinter, and Star Trek". So if you are playing these games, their previews, or are waiting for tomorrow's unveiling of Star Trek the game, we highly recommend downloading this latest set of drivers.

As it is usual, Nvidia has also added a large lot of SLI profiles that have been added or updated. For complete release notes and direct download links pick your platform below:
