Americans love Dell, Microsoft, but Sony most of all

The Register has posted a story on the recent Harris Poll results (2003) regarding best brands in the US.

An interesting one, Dell took slot #3, dropping a place from a year before due to Kraft's successful marketing plan during the past year. Microsoft, that didn't even make it to last year's Top 10, jumps right at #5, not bad for Mr. Gates.

In a completely different league however is Sony, topping the list for the fourth consecutive year, surprisingly enough, is the only non American-owned brand in the list. Now, how could you blame people for voting for Sony, seriously.

 1. Sony does make the best, quailty products ;) My dad will only buy Sony TVs.. no other brand.
 2. Most Japanese products are off very high quality although no longer better than those in the 80s and the early 90s. No suprise at all.
